Mrs Selby

1          Sandon Fete.  Mrs Selby thanked all those in organising the Fete for their hard work

and that it was such a shame that it had to be cancelled due to weather conditions forecast.

2          Footpath 36.  Burston Pool to the Gate.

Concern regarding the stability of the brook bank between the two sections where sleepers

had been installed.

To be monitored.  Thought in part to be caused by cattle passing through an open gate.

Mr Hoptroff

1          Expressing serious concern about the number of ducklings drowning in the culvert where the

brook from Burston Pool passes the old mill site before passing underneath the canal.

Issue discussed including installing a barrier during the breeding season but this could well

result in causing a flooding problem.

Stafford Wildlife Trust to be contacted for advice.

2          Concern about the white foam on the water during periods of high water flow.

Could be caused by a number of factors.  Future monitoring advised.

Mr Rundle

Commenting on his solution for the Gate closing system.  For discussion at the following meeting.

Following the Parish Council meeting Mr Rundle commented on the proposed Defibrillator for Burston
